Campus life and accommodation
Our campus offers everything you will need – there are study spaces, including our state-of-the-art postgraduate research lounge, a 24/7 library, a bookshop, food and drink outlets and a fitness centre. We also have our own on-campus theatre, gallery, and music centre.
Our award-winning sustainable student village ‘The Green’ is situated at the heart of campus. Apartment and townhouse accommodation is available to all undergraduate and postgraduate students.
City living
Bradford’s diverse centre is just a 10-minute walk from campus. The historic city enjoys a thriving arts scene with numerous galleries, theatres and museums, and a fine selection of high street and independent cafés, bars, and restaurants.
Many new nightlife venues have opened in recent years including Sunbridge Wells, an underground space full of bars and food venues. Bradford’s multicultural population creates a diversity of world cuisines and cultures to explore.
With excellent transport links, Bradford offers easy access to the cities of Leeds and Manchester, and the Leeds Bradford airport. Also on the city’s doorstep are the picturesque towns of Haworth, Saltaire, Ilkley and Otley.

Scholarships
The University invests over £4m in scholarships every year. We award non-repayable scholarships to UK, EU and international students based on academic excellence, personal circumstances, or economic hardship. We also award several subject-specific scholarships every year.
