We welcome research applications focusing on the social and political history of the United States. Much of our research focuses on:
- US race relations from slavery to civil rights, the Black Power movement and Black Lives Matter
- the Cold War and transnationalism after World War II
- transnational race relations
- the Civil War era
- the history of American racial violence.
We understand that deciding where and what to study is a very important decision. We’ll make all reasonable efforts to provide you with the courses, services and facilities described in this prospectus.
