Our PGCEs
At Staffordshire University, we are experts in developing our students’ understanding of how children and young people learn. Our PGCE portfolio offers a range of options to help you achieve the qualifications you need to teach in primary schools, secondary schools and the post-16 and further education sectors. That’s not all, we back up our academic excellence with strong links to schools in Staffordshire and Cheshire, including Stoke-on-Trent, Wolverhampton, Walsall and surrounding areas. Our highly regarded PGCE teaching programmes rely on small class sizes, with learning combining a mixture of practical and academic study, taking place in both university and school settings. We aim to develop your experience and expertise in general educational and professional issues and subject pedagogy at KS3, KS4, or KS5 levels.
