Queen Mary University of London was established in 1785 and is a leading research-intensive university with a difference – one that opens the doors of opportunity to anyone and supporting students to succeed.

Facilities 

Queen Mary is home to one of the largest self-contained student campuses in central London. The largest campus in Mile End has everything a student may need while studying at Queen Mary, from lecture theatres and laboratories to a 24-hour library. The campus also has a variety of shops, restaurants, a bar, a gym, and student accommodation on-site. All facilities are within five-minute walk away from each other, making students’ lives easy.

Studentships and bursaries 

Every year we offer a generous support package of scholarships, bursaries and studentships to newly-qualified postgraduate applicants.

For September 2024/25, we are delighted to offer the Global Talent Scholarship and other masters scholarships of up to £4,000 for eligible students.

Our medicine and dentistry students have their own campus at Whitechapel, next to the Royal London Hospital. The Postgraduate Law Centre at Lincoln's Inn Fields is home to the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), LLM teaching and postgraduate research.
