Krasimir Dargov is a 26-year-old from Bulgaria is studying an MSc in Structural Engineering at the University of Dundee in Scotland.
When he discovered he had been awarded the Postgrad Solutions Engineering Study Bursary worth £500 Krasimir said, “When I realized that I have won the bursary I was utterly excited and grateful. Once again, I was proven that hard work and dedication pay back.
“The decision on further education and a master’s degree is one that requires careful consideration as not only student’s time and great effort but also funds are invested in persuing this goal. Knowing that financial help is available is motivating and inspiring, especially for people that value knowledge and self-improvement."
Krasimir did his initial bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and after researching universities in the UK came to the conclusion that the University of Dundee was the best place for him to go on to study structural engineering at postgraduate level.
Speaking of his choice of institution he explains, “Now that I have started my course, I have realized that I made the right choice and I expect to enhance my knowledge and experience in the field of engineering with the help and guidance of the lecturers in University of Dundee.”
Krasimir is delighted to have been awarded a Postgrad Solutions Study Bursary, and would encourage all other postgraduate students to apply. He says, “The bursary of £500 against the cost of my tuition fee means a lot to me, as many times little things make a big difference!”
