Facilities and Location
Lincoln is a fabulous place to live with our main campus located next to the picturesque Brayford Pool marina in the heart of the thriving city centre. Steeped in history, in Lincoln you will find one of the finest cathedrals in Europe, a medieval castle and an original of the 1215 Magna Carta.
Lincoln is a safe, compact and friendly place to live and study. Everything a postgraduate student would need, from bespoke accommodation, to shops, bars and restaurants, is just a short walk from campus. More than three quarters (77%) of our students come into campus on foot, one of the highest ratios of any university in the country [Student Travel Survey 2016, as reported to HESA].
Our campus provides a modern, student-centred environment. More than £350million has been invested in our facilities over the past two decades. We have won a string of awards over the years for our campus buildings, including accolades from RIBA and RICS for our Great Central Warehouse Library and new £21million Lincoln Medical School building.
