This course is a research-based degree, in which students undertake individual research projects under close academic supervision from within the department. It can be studied full or part-time.
The PhD normally takes three years of full-time research (five years part-time), after which students

Entry requirements | The minimum basic entry requirement for a MPhil or PhD is normally a good Honours Degree or its equivalent in a subject relevant to the intended area of research. Applicants whose first language is not English will require IELTS score of at least 6.5. |
