UEA has four faculties that are committed to academic excellence: the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Social Sciences. Each faculty specialises in a range of research areas, from dementia to creative writing, antibiotic resistance to child protection, welcoming collaboration which crosses research areas and faculties.
Our Graduate Schools and partnerships in doctoral training provide specialist training and expertise, transferable skills and enhanced prospects for whatever the future holds.
UEA is also a lead institution of Norwich Research Park, a major global centre for scientific research including plant, food and health research. The park has a collaborative network of around 3000 scientists which include clinicians and entrepreneurs. The research park is on UEA’s door step, meaning our students have the chance to connect with a wealth of experts in their chosen field.
UEA’s campus is situated on the outskirts of the vibrant, historical city of Norwich with places to shop and socialise, a lively arts scene, an art gallery located on campus, and a fantastic coastline to explore.
