It’s with this backdrop that our School of Humanities offers courses spanning areas including History, English and Creative Writing and Languages, taught by academics – many with extensive industry experience.
Focus on employability
Our focus is on ensuring you’re supported with real-world experience wherever possible. This means there is access to a range of opportunities including our internships, work placements, projects and schemes, like our Explore Teaching scheme and Employing Humanities programme. To allow you to put your skills into practice, some of our courses have extended work placements embedded. Some courses are also designed with industry input, such as our Museums, Galleries and Contemporary Culture with Professional Experience MA, which includes modules designed in partnership with the Museum of London and the Tate.

With courses taught at our Regent Street campus, students are in the heart of London, and perfectly placed to benefit not only from our teaching and facilities but also all that London has to offer. In a city with over 300 languages spoken, there is linguistic diversity all around. With numerous museums, galleries, libraries, as well as publishing houses nearby, students studying any of our humanities courses have access to a variety of world-class facilities to boost their experience of their chosen subject. We offer a vibrant learning environment, providing you with the knowledge, skills, and support required to succeed in future careers or further study.

Most of our degrees are offered full or part-time with the option of studying the TESOL MA entirely online, allowing you to study it from anywhere in the world.
