Why study postgraduate counselling?
Students learn about different counselling theories and approaches, as well as how to work with clients who are facing a range of mental health issues. In addition, postgraduate counselling degrees teach students how to conduct research, which can be helpful when working with clients or in developing new counselling interventions.
Many counselling roles will also require a university-level qualification, so having a postgraduate degree will set you on the path to becoming a successful counsellor.
