Mila Assad has come to London to study at
Birkbeck University of London
from Belarus. Having previously struggled with various financial difficulties prior to starting on her course, Mila was delighted to be awarded a Postgrad Solutions Study Bursary of £500 to help her with her tuition fees.
Like most postgrads, Mila has a very keen interest in her chosen area of postgraduate study, “I’m doing this master’s program because I love the Spanish language and have a great interest in the Spanish-speaking world.”
And having managed to get a place on the course of her dreams, Mila is delighted to find that it more than lives up to her expectations.
“I find this course extremely fascinating and useful, first of all, thanks to the professors of the Department of Iberian and Latin American Studies who know how to keep up and boost students’ interest in the subjects, as well as how to create most friendly and warm environment that makes the course very special.”
